I visited China to find it is "Communist in Name Only." The shopping malls were fully stocked with all major designer brands, the people were mostly kind and generous. There were clubs with skit comedy shows. I walked the streets of major cities in the middle of the night and nobody shouted "Get your white meat home." I never sas street gangs rolling junkies to steal their drugs as they cried out for help and nobody cared. In China drug dealing is a death penalty offense. In many ways China is safer and cleaner than the US. The Communist Party protects power with brutality, but it seems amodel Democrats in America are keen to follow, but without the thriving private small businesses and clean streets.
@pblogger9065 Says:
Communism is not as evil as religion, or someone who sells all of his beliefs to the highest bidder, which is what Dennis Prager does
@DavidSDoubleU Says:
the number of people slaughtered under capitalism (billions) dwarfs the number of people that died under communism
@54fighting5 Says:
The world is so much more dangerous and different than when you were in your twenties Mr Prager. Your very life is at risk by visiting many of those countries today.
@marksmith8079 Says:
Countries don't have values.
@ob1292 Says:
It would depend entirely on the laws of the country, if I have to worry about being arrested or killed in a country just bc i'm different then no.
@mamc1986 Says:
Yes, yes I think you should go to those countries. Just behave yourselves.
@martint6680 Says:
Well I don't like Hamas, yet when I visited Israel I was shocked by how they spat in front of priests or pastors and by the general racism of this society.
@dominiquecharriere1285 Says:
For work probably but as a tourist probably not
@cornhusker221 Says:
Why would I hand over my money to countries that work against the values that I believe in? Don't endorse evil with tourism dollars. Vote with your wallet.
@WorgenGrrl Says:
I refuse to go to Israel for safety reasons. Even though Israel claims to have "Freedom of Religion," if you practice any religion other than the big 3 ( Judaism, Christianity, or Islam ), you are treated like garbage by the big three...especially Islam.
@PreggoJohn Says:
I guess them chinese wumao shills who wave china's flag while living in America took this advice a little too literally...
@thecove4770 Says:
It depends on the country. I would visit Russia and Turkey, despite their excessively wicked recent past. I would visit Palestine, possibly, if I had safe passage. I hope to visit Iran someday, when they are free. They aren’t particularly trustworthy. I would never visit North Korea until it is completely free. What the current regime did to that young man and their own people is unforgivable.

America has values we don't share. Abuse of children, political prisoners, rigg3d elections, election interference, etc...

Nostalgia dilemma? What moral dilemma? What the moral dilemma of subjugating yourself to a different view point?! Oh no!!!
@nledoux5276 Says:
I bet the family of that guy who was imprisoned in N. Korea and then returned to his family as a vegetable would strongly disagree with you!
@coolbrotherf127 Says:
Plus most of the time, the people there are not evil or have any ill will towards others. They just want to enjoy their lives in the best way they can and meeting new people from other places is very interesting to them.
@fort5521 Says:
Anyone who believes that Russia is “our” enemy is too ignorantly indoctrinated and brainwashed by the actual true enemy within, that is our enemy. in other words, Russia is fighting our enemy, and it is that enemy that is making Russia out to be the enemy. True, Russia has had to work alongside some countries that are our enemy, such as Iran that the USA gives billions of dollars to under the demoncrats, China that still gets subsidies and aid from us, even though the enemy within the USA, which I like to refer to is the WF fourth Reich, which is both the demon party, and the rhinos, including the bush clan under Reagan, gutted the backbone of our strength in the west of our manufacturing, and gave it all over to China, etc. ironically, since Iron Curtain fell, Russia should’ve been, and should still be one of our closest allies, but there is an enemy with the United States of America, an enemy that is become corporate internationally that I referred to, as the REF that are bigger than some countries, that benefit keeping the USA estranged from Russia and in conflict within to avoid any return to power as it declines into a second world country, alongside both of the west today. Russia, not the enemy. Ukraine is not an ally, but quite the opposite. Ukraine is one of the most criminally perverted countries in the world, so there’s no doubt that it is strongly linked to the Demoncrat party of the entire CIA Epstein island groups of corporate fourth Reich in the world.

Communists, fascists and democrats. 3 faces of the same evil.
@glennvastine4118 Says:
NO YOU DO NOT GO THERE!!!!! Every dollar you give them goes straight into The government coffers, either directly or indirectly. If you do YOU ARE SUPPORTING COMMUNISM. Prager should no better. Everyone already knows Cuba is evil. Don’t support it with your dollars. Instead go somewhere nice like an island or a place that celebrates freedom of choice and capitalism.
@Antropovich Says:
I don't think communism on it's own is evil. It is an economic and political system. What makes it the worst system, is that people who have those communistic ideals and are still subject to the human condition (greed, lust, hunger, etc). Run those ideals and the human condition to its logical conclusion and that is what you get.
@johnnym8717 Says:
I tell that to people all the time that bitch about America. Go check it out and you'll be begging to come back I promise you. You'll have fun for a day or two. But once you leave that nice hotel or resort that you can afford be ause youre american, youll get a taste of the other side. God blesss America

I once visited Cuba 🇨🇺. I was able to observe that communism doesn't work.

@gamewizard1760 Says:
I have to disagree. Look what happened to the guy who went to North Korea, then treated it like a joke. He took a propaganda poster, as a souvenir, got arrested, and was beaten in prison. He eventually was released, but died shortly after arriving home, as a result of the treatment he received in prison. The poster probably cost the government of North Korea less than a dollar to print, which shows what a low value they place on human life. Taking down a government poster would be a misdemeanor here, and maybe get you a fine, or a few weekends of community service, but it's a serious offense in some countries. You won't know what's considered a crime, until the police are arresting you.

It's important not to be a moron. An older Canadian woman visited Afghanistan, and we know from phone and other communication that she was then raped and killed.

I travel for work to countries like this and embrace the opportunity to learn
@WilliamCooper-l6f Says:
It's no longer necessary to travel the world to understand anything, with the vast amount of documentaries available. The trick to be intellectually savvy is more about other's research and more of taking advantage of it. If you are traveling just to see places, then there are excellent travel videos, as well.

There is a difference in not wanting to go to Israel vs not wanting to go to The Congo or North Korea. One is presumably based on misunderstanding or misinformation. The other is wanting to stay alive.

I visited the Soviet Union for a week as a tourist while I was in college. Beautiful country. I also took all even vaguely political statements with a grain of salt. I avoided politics as even if I convinced someone of my position, he or she had to still live there. (And anyone there would be much better practiced in discussing ideology than i.)
@Couldhavebeensomeone Says:
So many angry misled children are in every Prager comment section. Keep it up Dennis
@micuentaparaforosycosas3484 Says:
*"IF Evil exists"... really, "IF"?* One the biggests successess of the Devil is make the fools believe he doesn't exists...
@markarchila9446 Says:
I'm sorry, evil exists where evil is allowed to exists. Be it in a communist country or a democratic one. Characterizing a social construct as evil is nothing more than assuming the position of a bigot. The leaders actions are what are good or evil, not the society as a whole. But sadly, that statement would be something I would expect from Mr. Prager.
