Actually NW is helping other regular size customers as well. That way you don't have a sweaty fat guy squishing you, or hogging the arm rest. Being a "big" guy over half my life, tipping at 300 lbs. a few times, it is uncomfortable for the fatty as well. But if they want to guarantee a freed up seat, pay for it. Now at 245, and at 6'1' am much more comfortable. Going from 4-5X sizes to 2X, it is a lot more comfortable for everyone. lol.
