She makes more money to pay for all the things she does, hiring people, paying for the rental space, paying to keep the lights on, paying for all the things that is needed to run the business. After she makes all of her payments, she still brings home more money than probably most people in the state. It’s the other people who are paying the high taxes with their much smaller income (I.e., grocery prices, fuel, etc.) because of the way people like her vote. In the end, she still has nice things, maybe not as nice as it could be, but she still has nice things so she will continue to vote the way she’s been voting. Personal Income tax = Work > Pay is taxed > whatever is left after taxes is yours
Corporate income tax = Work > pay business expenses and salaries > whatever is left is taxed

When you are self-employed the government doesn't take 50% off of the top. You have all your biz expenses I e. Your employees which you deduct from your total income to create your adjusted taxable income. You are lying to people about how it works.
