If u speak Russian watch reports from border crossings. Nobody was not forced to leave the region. If u wanna report ethnic cleansing, do research about 1993 war when Armenia ceased this region from Azerbaijan. One thing ia that Armenian side gave less than 24 hours to ethnic Azeri people to leave Karabakh

Welcome to the Caucasus. Just because you have white skin doesn’t mean you understand the region. This part of the world has been juggled by international authorities for centuries, hell for millennia, because of its geographical location. The Russians, the Turks, the Greeks, the Romans, the Persians, just about everyone has fought wars over and invaded this region since time immemorial. Just about the only peoples who have rarely had a chance to decide how its geographical position should be used to benefit mankind have been the native populations of the region. What a fantastical idea it would be if the rest of the world ASKED (not demanded, not TOLD, but asked) those people what they would like to do with THEIR own lands. I think it would be awesome if one day the peoples of the world could be respectful enough of one another to let other people live their lives in peace. It’s a pipe dream, but it’s my dream. Meanwhile, the regional powers play their petty political games with the lives of ACTUAL PEOPLE, creating chaos for those who live there, justifying it with global ambitions and brinksmanship. In other words, “If we don’t, then they’ll get it and then we’ll be vulnerable. And we won’t be able to use it how we want to!” It’s a children’s pissing match, where the innocent people who live there are the ones getting wet. And ever has it been this way. I wonder if the nations of Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan would like to live in peace and be able to create and sustain their own economic and political identities and opportunities? What would that look like? Could they become industrial or commercial powerhouses if left alone? Could the create beautiful tourist opportunities? Would they do that? Will we ever know?

Did you delibherately leave out the fact that Isreal sells weapons to Azerba,jan? If you didn't know Look up the article in the Los Angeles Time called "Israeli arms helped Azerbaijan retake Nagorno-Karabakh, to the dismay of Armenians"

@calendil Says:
Armenian ethnic groups are trying to be an independent state? I thought you were less one sided that most western people. The country of Armenia was there beyond the Azerbaijan's border internationally recognized border. Their defensive minister called it a successful land capture and said "New wars for new lands" (look it up). You are one sided. No recovery.
@joegevorkyan7308 Says:
Not decades, but centuries. The word “Azerbaijan” was created in the 18 century… whereas Armenians have inhabited and had kingdoms on this turf for 5000 years.
@Equilibrium-Manifesto Says:
Decades? Thousands of years dude

@sambearing7687 Says:
There is not and will not be a “Nagorno” Karabakh. Karabakh is a sovereign territory of Azerbaijan.
@UltriLeginaXI Says:
All the rage about "ethnic cleansing" yet I've barely heard anyone talks about the Armenians
@zohaibaziz885 Says:
The Armenians invaded the region, by international law, it was always part of Azerbaijan, they simply took back what was theirs to begin with.
@AdityaThakur-vf3ot Says:
This dude won't call out muslims ever. Turkey and Azerbaijan are pushing non muslims out. Call it out for what it truly is.
@daveballin Says:
Surely you mean war ON Ukraine.
@Versatire Says:
