The Philadelphia Federal Reserve office announced that Swift's tour has helped boost hotel revenue in the city. The announcement came in the central bank's Beige Book, which summarizes how different parts of the economy are doing in cities across the U.S."

People love to attack Taylor for no reason. She does a lot for her fans, gives a lot to charity, is a songwriter(written or co written every song on all her albums), writes songs for other people and for movies, directs, produces, took on Apple music and Spotify(I think Spotify) and won which helps everyone involved with making music, plays three instruments, fought to own her masters as a result other artists are fighting for theirs with their new contracts and some other things I can't think of at the moment. People are constantly trying to tear her down. Beyonce gets none of that hate. She can't do anything wrong in most people's eyes. It is truly disgusting. They are both extremely talented and deserve everything they have. They both have worked extremely hard from a young age. People are pitting Taylor and Beyonce against each other. They like each other and both are at the top of their game. It is like the haters forget most people like more than one artist or genre. Both ladies rock!

I'm not a huge fan of Taylor's music, however I am a big fan of Taylor the person. She donates millions to food banks during this tour. Not only is she adding to the economy but doing actual great things for less fortunate. And, it isn't some promotion thing as she and her team does not talk about it.

Went to the Kansas City show. Despite there being 73,000 people, the ambience was very positive. In traffic getting in, drivers were very polite and friendly. There was no sense of obnoxious or rude fans going in or out of the venue. It wasn't difficult to go to the bathroom and back to your seats, though the line to the ladies room was much longer than the men's room. Probably one of the most pleasant experiences I've ever had of a mass gathering of humans.

That fact that she’s selling tickets at all should tell us how good the Biden economy is. People don’t buy concert tickets let alone fly to a different city book a hotel room and all the amenities that go with travel plus all the concert merch when the economy is bad.

- The countless ways she’s been criticized for simply dating, getting called horrible names bcs of it
- The media literally canceling her after the Kim and Kanye set-up, making her disappear for a full year
That’s just to name a few of the most well-known cases. I thought getting informed was part of journalism. She’s been through a lot that could’ve easily ended her career, but she’s come out on top due to her amazing talent, work ethic and loyal fan base.

Taylor, one of the most privileged women in the world, defended herself in the name of feminism against a line in Ginny and Georgia (which was fine) and said nothing of the racist hate fans unleashed on the actress who delivered the line as a result (not fine and totally hypocritical considering her defense of herself was in the name of feminism). A feminist doesn’t only use feminism to defend themself. There are countless examples of her flawed feminism and subtle racism. Nicki Minaj incident was the perfect opportunity for her to contribute something productive to a conversation about intersectional feminism after she made a wrong assumption, and she didn’t. The whole point Nicki was trying to make is that it’s harder in the industry for women than men, but harder for women of color than white women. If you don’t think that’s true, when Beyoncé performed at the Super Bowl there were literal protests against her performing. Taylor’s apology was not only lacking, but she doubled down and said that Nicki was welcome to come up on any stage while Taylor wins an award. The whole point Nicki was making is that she’s tired of being sidelined, and Taylor’s response was tone deaf. Her feminism is not real. Real feminism is for ALL women. Taylor’s feminism is self interest.

You should hear about the stimulus she is creating here in Scotland for next years dates in Edinburgh. She is increasing hotel prices massively. Edinburgh is £850 a night. 50 miles away, here in Glasgow it’s going towards £200 a night now. She is a one woman stimulus package.
