"On Friday, Minnesota State Senator Warren Limmer (R) made a claim that seemed a little out of joint to many on social media. Limmer was arguing against a bill that would permit adults 21 and older in Minnesota to purchase up to two ounces of cannabis flower, eight grams of concentrate or 800 milligrams of edible products. The bill under consideration in the Minnesota State Senate would also allow adults to grow 'up to eight cannabis plants at home.' Limmer's claim came right after he had said, 'Now I've seen some of the videos of DEA raids, some of these plants are 8 and 10 feet tall, you can have eight of 'em, you can have a privacy fence made of these products in your backyard.' Presumably by DEA, Limmer meant the Drug Enforcement Administration and not the Dope Elite Assassins. Regardless, it's what Limmer said right afterwards that got the joint kind of a rocking: 'Two ounces, just two ounces is equivalent to three joints.'*

Its a "gateway" because its illegal. If cigarettes were illegal, theyd consider that a gateway drug to smoking crack π Its legal in lots of states. People who buy legal pot arent looking to do hard drugs that do the real damage like her0in, m3th, c0ke, etc.
If its illegal of course its going to be subject to other illegal drugs that arent even in the same category as weed. Weeds not perfect but it has alot of benefits.

I'm from Minnesota, and can honestly say that if marijuana were that dangerous I would have been dead 45 years ago. Meanwhile I've lost a number of friends to alcohol, which IS a much more dangerous drug. The problem with these GOP idiots is that they seem to have to reinvent the wheel for everything they address. They talk about lack of studies being done, etc. I can honestly say that in all of my adult life I've never not been able to get weed, legal or not! I hope wherever Limmer lives in MN that a dispensary opens right next to his house!
