And I HAVE been to drag shows, they are fun, arty, AND hugely sexualized. Nothing wrong with that for an adult.
But young children don't need to be seeing gesticulating men sporting large breasts adorned with tassels. If they grow up and want to go to a show, then it's a consensual choice.
But as children, they need to be protected from this over-sexualization, that for some weird reason, seems to permiate our current society.

If people want to trash on obese singers, maybe they need to check out the opera. Those people are huge. I think that most people get upset with her appearance just because of the clothes she wears on stage or lack of clothes let’s say. They find it gross. She is trying to sexualize being overweight. I have no problem with her having drag queens in her performances. You have to pay to get a ticket to go to her shows. I do object to drag queens being on the country of music awards show and on halftime shows at sporting events where children are watching. In the past drag shows were always considered adult entertainment. No one had a problem with it that I’m aware of.
