The only time a late term abortion would be done is if the child's or the mother's health would be at risk the baby would die a short time after birth. There is a cute off time that is a safe time to do an abortion and that is when they are done. If you do up to the time of the baby being born without it being medical necessary it is called murder, the same thing goes if you try to do an abortion after birth. You all are so worried about babies killed by abortion what about babies who are wanted and planned for who are caused by drunk and stone drivers or lost because someone shoots up a movie theater or someone beats the mother till she loses the baby? Who is there to protect these babies, so they get born alive and come home to their families? I can tell you no one but their loved ones fighting to keep them safe and pray every day till that child comes home they live through the 9 months it takes them to be born. Instead of telling lies and putting your nose in things that are not happening and put it in to protect these babies from dying from someone other than the mom's choice to have an abortion.

Roe v Wade allowed: 1. Abortion upon request during the first trimester. 2. Abortion at the advice or consent of the doctor during the second trimester. 3. Abortion only if the life of the mother and/or fetus is at risk in the third trimester. NOBODY has ever advocated for abortion upon request "right up to the moment of birth". Furthermore, "abortion after birth" is just an ignorant statement/concept. It is not possible grammatically or in actuality, and as Cenk and Ana point out, to kill a newborn baby is murder, which is already a felony.
