Right-wing federal judge Matthew Kacsmaryk's ruling overturning the Food and Drug Administration's 23-year-old approval of abortion medication mifepristone could severely damage companies' ability to develop and market prescription drugs. Companies could spend a fortune getting a drug approved, only to see the courts take issue with the process, and the money washed down the drain. So let me see if I have this right, the Democrats are all about killing kids before they form and the Republicans are all about killing the kids when they are in schools?

#BigPharma is threatening Biden's attempt to lower the price of 10 (ten) pharmaceutical drugs based on legislation he passed earlier in his presidency. Under the new law, set to take effect in 2026, drug prices for ONLY 10 pharmaceutical drugs can be negotiated under Medicare. #TYT, do you have a list of the most popular pharmaceutical drugs used in America along with their prices? We need a better understanding of the most frequently used pharmaceutical drugs and which categories of pharmaceuticals Americans spend the most money on. Any information you can provide is appreciated. Thank you. 🇺🇸 B1 FBA

Cenks argument on how politicians are corporate puppets sounds a little like the antisemitic argument of "jews controlling everything like pupeteers"...😂

Yep: Cenk totally called it. Could not and did not do a single thing to stop it, but... totally called it. GOLD STAR! Too bad there aren't enough labour unions in the US to counteract any kind of PAC money. Good thing the squad is in congress, doing... well, nothing really.

Chicken shit donations, what a dead loss to think that paltry amount could sway anyone
@DunantheDefender Says:
Conservative lawmakers are "pro life" right up until their 19 year old mistress says she is pregnant. Then, they're pro chartered flight to a state where abortion is legal and pro nondisclosure agreement.
@rebeccachambers4701 Says:
I mean when the corporations are doing something inadvertently by accident that's good because Washington is f****** over their business. That that should just tell everyone how f*****-up our country is in all honesty I think if we want more trans rights and I think this is the real reason we have more trans rights is because corporations are becoming less bigoted corporations are seeing the utility and making everyone there slave and or bitch. They now see all the different ways they can profit off of trans people and that is why trans people have so many rights now because looking how much money we can make off of them if you want right or you want something to be done in America show the corporation's away they can become even more filthy rich off of it even though it's all theoretical at the point their wealth is and they will do it
@Teddypally Says:
Not logical.while I'd agree pharma pays both sides. Consider, if one party is ideologically aligned {d}, pharma doesn't have to pay them for their vote, just pay for their election. Then if not enough d are elected, pharma then has to pay for the elected r vote. So when big pharma announces this, r who will sell their vote will announce their willingness to reverse. D will also see the opportunity to also be paid or their votes even after they got paid for their election, by announcing their willing to change their vote also. So pharma to pay all the d and only enough r to get a majority to secure a decision. The idea that big pharma already pays r and some r mistakenly votes the wrong way and now have to backtrack, that would not make sense to me because I cannot come up with a model, like above where this would be.
@R1CK_54NCH3Z Says:
Don't just say get money out of politics. Say how, like, imagine if politicians didn't have to constantly fund raise. Have elections funded by the government where candidates get the same amount for campaigning, say 3 debates 1 at the start, middle, and end with equal time for each candidate to make their position known. Ban all 3rd parties running parallel political campaigns. All meetings with lobbyists are monitored and disclosed. Continual refinement of the process to stop interference. If the goal is to remove the outsized influence of small groups or individuals with enormous resources to pressure officials that are elected by a majority, this must be the overriding principle.
@jonphebus6720 Says:
Cenk and his freaking insight. Geesh!

@zAlaska Says:
I'm not against the morning-after pill and believe in a woman's right to decide after being infected with demon sperm. I think it's important to have all options available on the table as required and necessary. Deciding if medication or service be available based on political contributions is disgusting, no matter the outcome. Leaving sterility as the only viable option to temporarily prevent unwanted pregnancy is a showstopper. Birth control pills and IUD, like squeezing a melon through my penis, I imagine the pain of giving birth. I don't know the after-effects a woman experiences as probably no experience is typical depending on individuality. I'm not an expert on women's health, I don't even understand my own body. Men want to focus on Sexual Health let's talk about cutting off testicles in private discussions between men in men's health and let women have their private discussions on women's health. No man wants their balls cut off and no woman wants their vagina regulated. Supposedly humans are not commodities to be exploited, something we've forgotten as we deregulate everything except women's bodies.
@og4tool Says:
The republican party.. you might as well call them the evangelical party with all the baggage that entails.. abject hypocrisy, rejection of facts, science, reality, Fascist theocracy. People who vote republican habitually and reflexively thought they were getting conservatives.. no they are getting a theocracy that they never asked for shoved down their throats. I have a feeling they are peaking and are about to go into a tailspin decline in power.... Hopefully
@agentsituation1034 Says:
Where was this talk about big pharma being bad when you "progressives" were trying to get me to take the covaids j4b? Keep that same energy. Lol
@juliesipes8007 Says:
Again — I’ll be glad if the abortion pill is available to anyone who wants it, because I support bodily-autonomy for women. That said, I don’t like the monetary motivation behind it. The only solution is to limit big-money in elections via overturning Citizens United and instating Campaign Finance Reform!!
@kittyonmydesk5532 Says:
3:21 Last time you said mega donors were the servants!
@kittyonmydesk5532 Says:
Eh, I think Repooplicans are funded sooooooo much, that they will betray their mega donors in the name of power
@juliesipes8007 Says:
In this case I happen to agree with Big Pharma b/c of bodily autonomy for women. Keep abortion legal! (Although they’ll probably price-gouge on the pill.) As far as “pro-life”, that is b💩. The GOP couldn’t care less about the fetus AFTER it’s born.
@c.evans1804 Says:
Irony on all sides of the board lol. It’s actually refreshing and fun to watch 🍸.
@TruLdy Says:
WE ALL KNEW THIS! Now FRW REPUKE Politicians will LIE EVEN MORE, through their teeth, come 2024 ELECTIONS. Why!? to make everyone “THINK” they have changed their approval for these pills & WOMEN’s CHOICE issues & they are no longer for PRO-LIFE. They just want Our Votes and onc ethey are there again they will do the opposite if what they stated! They Will LIE LIE LIE because they are fully aware that WE THE REGULAR VOTERS, PLUS YES PLUS, THE GEN Z who are pretty pissed off & VERY VERY AWAKE! And we are not only UPSET AND ANGRY ABOUT THEM CHANGING OUR WOMEN’s Choice but ALSO pretty pissed off at GUN VIOLENCE Happening all over USA especially in schools.
@caitlincarson2447 Says:
insane they have more of a say then we the people lmao. bodily autonomy is important
@Fishmorph Says:
In this case, I have to agree with Big Pharma. Not because of any personal stand on abortion, but because I think it's simply *insanity* to allow the judiciary to act as a veto for government decisions like the approval of medications. Drugs go through trials and tests that can take years, that cost tens of thousands of dollars per patient, over thousands of patients. It's not done on a whim. Judges would be empowered to take *any* medicine off the shelf, even ones that had been approved decades ago, just because someone files a lawsuit. You'd end up with Tylenol suing to get Advil taken off the shelf, just to cut into a competitor's profits. The proper way to take a drug off the market is to *test it.* *Show* that it causes harm in a way that violates government guidelines. And if you don't like the guidelines, write new ones. We shouldn't try to issue judicial rulings from non-scientists and non-doctors and non-experts because we have *philosophical* disagreements on whether a safe and proven drug *should* be taken.
@DTreatz Says:
Abortion is hard *No* Bad for women, bad for men, bad for children, bad for society.

@fosta4243 Says:
The only thing politicians should be fighting is big pharma and their drug costs. Against hospitals and insurance companies too. Peoples health should not be treated like a business transaction.
@geneiwanskijr5957 Says:
People with disabilities are also impacted. I never hear anything from TYT regarding people with disabilities when they rattle off all these groups of people who face whatever is going on that results in a new story. The big difference between all of them and all of us is they don’t have a disability that they’re willing to admit to. We are here to, when is the treating us as if we’re invisible people going to end?
@kimberlychodur3508 Says:
thomasdeas1941, what is the thing about Bud Light that has the Republicans in a tizzy? I have heard they are against Bud Light now but not the reason behind it.
@luckylove5021 Says:
If they can't band the abortion pills they're gonna lock up women. Smfh... I see this coming.
@scottt8563 Says:
I'm very, very conservative, and I completely opposed this ruling. Plan B doesn't make any sense to outlaw. It's much too gray of an area to religiously oppose unless you're of the type that believes birth control is a sin. Either way, the legal argument has no foundation. And the medical risks, while real, are proven to be very infrequent. I just don't understand what sort of political maneuvering this was.
@willedelman7960 Says:
Thinking about this I think think the SC is still still going to screw around. The judge went too far by outlawing the drug altogether. What they will end up doing is keep it legal but prevent it from being sent to states that outlaw it, which is no victory. That will be the conservative judges ruling. There is a chance that Roberts might vote with the liberals and Kavanaugh, the slightly less right wing of the other's joining him to give the liberals a win, but I doubt it
@queent3343 Says:
They're backing down because they take Big Pharma money.
@ianalan4367 Says:
Ah, so now you all are against big pharma. In retrospect perhaps you should have had a similar opinion on the vaccine as opposed to calling anyone who didn’t air it evil and all that.
@cliffcorson4000 Says:
The major issue is that as the FDA approved a drug that now a local judge decided to want to block its use Yes this time it's an abortion pill, but what if the next is a medication to prevent heart attacks? Or medication for diabetes? Or seizures?
@richardsagrit7153 Says:
Funny. Big pharma bribed the government to mandate Covid vaccines even after it was shown it doesn’t stop transmission, and you guys called anyone who called that out a anti science nazi. You guys are so inconsistent. You can’t be pro vaccine MANDATE and be against big pharma. The vaccine should of always been a choice. But that doesn’t make as much money, so they did what they always do, bribed doctors and scientists to push it. Simple as that.
@leptonsoup337 Says:
If the conservatives backtrack on their abortion stance because of donor interference then they need to be held accountable for the blatantly obvious corruption.
@TwitchyWitchy Says:
Yeah, piss off your corporate overlords, and you've forgotten your place.
@nonaboccalupo7733 Says:
