"Cops who failed to rush in during the Uvalde school massacre repeatedly admitted to being too scared of the teen shooter's AR-15 'battle rifle,' according to a new investigation.
Body-camera footage captured some of the first responders to Robb Elementary last May warning that shooter Salvador Ramos, 18, had an 'AR,' according to a new report by the Texas Tribune.
'He has a battle rifle,' someone warned, as another officer getting the same warning reacted with a blunt 'F�k.'

My cousin is a 27 yr old cop in Chicago and was furious. He said he would rather be dead while trying to stop the shooter. Or be in a wheelchair the rest of his life.
My cousin also said yes you wouldn't want to storm the building without having a plan and make sure the classrooms around the shooter are being evacuated and getting the rest of the rooms on lockdown out safely. But it doesn't take an hour to have the plan or get the kids out safely and disarm the shooter.
He's been shot at number of times and still loves his job.

The reason this happened to begin with was because no one inside was armed to confront the shooter. Instead, they had to call someone else with a gun to come HOPEFULLY save the day.

Going back to this video after watching the Nashville body cam footage they released just makes this incident even more disgusting.
I’ve heard people argue that everyone is going over the top lauding the Nashville cops and I couldn’t disagree more.

I take no joy in the news that 6 people, three of them children, were killed by a shooter in Nashvile armed with at least one AR-15. What does stand out is the willingness of Nashville Police to confront the shooter - instead, the right will focus on the fact that they were a transgender woman. Neither the cops in Nashville nor their counterparts in Uvailde knew or cared about the shooter's sexual identity, but both knew the weapon was an AR -15. Draw your own conclusions.

This, to me, seems so incredibly fake. Even the most minimally knowledgeable gun owner knows how stupid this is.
