As a mixed race individual, i didnt fit into group identity stereotypes. And when i see people considering that life is easier or more difficult, based on race dont realize how lucky they are to be part of a group. Lots of mixed race people are faced with illusory pressure to pick which part of their heritage they identify more closely too. You dont fit in with people who represent either half of your ancestry. You have more to be proud of but less people who understand you.
@t.walker3820 Says:
So the same could be said about all of the "WHITE" Americans who are currently playing the victim card as if they are the ones now under attack.

@jodopeg Says:
Let's be honest here, Candice is 100% correct in that dropping the professional ethnic act helps everyone build relationships with others not like themselves.
But, and it's a BIG BUT, If you are basically a good looking individual, like Candice, and can speak clearly and not have an offending attitude, then you will likely make friends and move up socially, professionally and personally in life.
How ever, If you are an unattractive, funny looking, odious looking, grotesquely over weight or have an abrasive personality then you are likely to look at everyone and everything as racist, sexist, homophobic, or what ever your perceived weakness is.
Basically, the better looking you are, taller, slender, clean , well groomed, etc. you are the more people will open up to you.
Then it's up to you , the nice looking man or woman, not to ruin it with an abrasive attitude.

@lloydielloydie821 Says:
After the suffering, that black people have endured, you wish to abandon your heritage and immerse yourself in modern culture.
For what ? Do you feel it held you back ? Is it mile stone around your neck ? Is it too heavy a weight to bare?
We all started from somewhere, Africa is where our origins come from, it’s where you ancestors are from.
Why do you find it so hard to stay connected. I don’t. It’s the one thing that you can do for those that suffered for our betterment. It’s who we are..
Just think, I know so little about my ancestors in comparison to my white piers. I can probably go back as far as my grandparents, I never got an opportunity to meet any of them before they passed. I’m sure others are in similar situation like me. Remember, the film Roots, if there was ever a documentary that embraced black people this was it. Whether true or fable, we had a opportunity to get in insight into the evolution of African American history.
So many of our parents were not in economically in a position to take the children back home, to experience life and understand our heritage, fully.
It’s sounds like you’re, effectively saying, “play the game, like you have done and this will bring success”. White people will then like us, trust us and build strong relationships, opening doors and opportunities. You know what your probably right. But, nah. We all have levels, I’m not prepared to stoop so low to achieve acceptance.
You’ve used the term many times, “ we need to get of the plantation” which I find not only insulting but utterly disrespectful.
Generally White, people inherently have privilege. So, Ms. Owen, you do what’s good for you. If you wish to forget your ancestors, step away from voicing your heritage, how you got here then so be it, but I do take issue with you encouraging others to think the same, even if so politely put.
Reciting the words of the great Bob Morley’s - Redemption song:
If you know your history,
then you would know where your
coming from.
then you wouldn't have to ask me.
who the heck do I think I am.

It would help many black Americans if they were taught the actual history of this marxist indoctrination, who has done it to them and how. I've met many former black marxist, and they all had the same story of how it was inflicted upon them and how totally insidious and destructive it was in their life. As soon as they changed their mind and broke out of the indoctrination their lives improved overnight, as one person in particular put it, it was as if I had never known happiness before.

This is a Topic I discuss with alot of people. When it comes to race or ethnicity in America. We go out of our way to separate each other in a categorized manner in the U.S the African American,Latin American, Asian American and many more. People we are American don’t let the Government separate us we need to be united so we can get this country in the right track.
@mdte5421 Says:
It’s not so much the media the system make you to be a certain Color . I’m East African and as 15 year old applying for SSN card i our my race as “other” because where I come from we don’t label ourselves as race but the country we come from ! When you Americans say “black” for us it is a shade of Color! Nonetheless the lady was lisses at me that I put “other” and made me aware that I am BLACKA 😂

All the way from Africa,
It's not hard to tell that no skin color is even 'Black' or 'white', we're all shades of yellow. But there's absolutely no need to project color at all. Why do you grade humans by skin color? Who started it first?

@samschannelish Says:
Find a woman whose life you want to make easier, and who wants to make your life easier… out of love and respect. Marry her. Provide for her and the children she will give you, and protect them. Provide and protect wife and children is the sacred calling of most men. When they don’t do it, they end up emasculated and miserable. Don’t believe the brainwash that you need other sexual relationships to be happy. They will leave you empty or miserable and condemn you to hell.
