It’s not the job or the studying that stresses women out. It’s because women, on top of everything else, still are doing most of the housework. It’s perfectly possible to both work (or study) and have a decent enough home IF the people living in it take equal responsibility for it.
When our kids were small we planned our weeks so that none of us would end up doing more chores at home than the other. Because that would be unfair. We both loved our kids, our home and our jobs, so we made it work. I would never have wanted it any other way.

Nobody is saying thats its a "controversial" thing. A lot of people even in US cant afford a house, car and education for their kids without 2 incomes. A lot of men actually wants a pattern who can and willing to work, you can hire help to cook and clean, if you find fulfillment in work. And a lot of women are "miserable" as housewives. My husband finally came to the conclusion that he needed me at home rather than pursuing the degree my family was pressuring me to get. It caused nothing but stress for both of us and I didn't want a career to begin with. It's still weird to wrap my head around, but it's reassuring to see that other women are saying no to the social pressure. I definitely want to focus on having kids more than a piece of paper and being able to pursue that almost feels too good to be true
