I get 1 month vacation as well as sick leave and other types of PTO here in the US, but I have a college degree, for the lower classes, I do feel pretty bad for them as leave is not guaranteed. But the US is far from the worst when it comes to overworking people, and work here isn't too difficult compared to other countries I have worked in. Also the US, if you invest your money, is probably the easiest country to retire early in. Wages are high, and investment opportunities are better in the US than elsewhere.

In South Africa, a shithole country, we have 30 days sick leave, 4 months paid maternity and 10 days paternity leave. This is still way below levels provided by countries like Estonia, where my wife’s from. It’s a year paid maternity or paternity leave, with a possibility to extend it for another 6 months, with half the pay. Is America a real place? 🤷🏾♂️

Wages going up is not a sustainable solution because prices will go up. There is a discrepancy between salary vs hourly employees. Hourly employees have limited sick, masked in PTO hours. Salaried employees have unlimited sick with conditions.

$15 hourly minimum wage in MO is staggering. If inflation is brought down, those high ENTRY LEVEL wages will drive them right back up. $15 phr in MO is like $30-35 hourly in CA - it's going to affect all other costs AND put the bottom workers into higher state and federal tax brackets. Minimum wages kill small businesses while benefiting big businesses. Wages don't need to rise - prices need to fall. Idiots.

I need you all to listen to me on this topic. We do not have an issue with inflation, the problem we have is that over 60% of every dollar you earn goes to taxes, from the remainder of your funds, you're tax on all your utility bills, clothing, some groceries, and pretty much everything you purchase. So in reality it not that things are too expensive, it's that you have no money left over after paying all the taxes

Come on what bullshit.. yes dems screwed up big time but you're fighting demagoguery 101, the language Trump and other parties now in the world use has been avoided by Western Democratic Politicians for 80 years because well some form of decency you don't go out on that stage and vilify and move the masses to target groups as we've been through this many times and looks like we're going through it again in many places..and well the previous victims are leading the charge in some everlasting cycle of passed on generational trauma and learned behaviour as well in the end we're mostly still great apes playing fancy dress parties. Not that these types of people didn't exist, or that there were no parties like that but they were shunned & blocked.. but ever since the internet their game has been way stronger and it's an excellent tool to get short strong messages across... everyone on the other side is kinda forced to use nuance but is therefor already very boring and easily wiped away. Everyone is on their phones these days throughout the day, the channels, websites, personalities supporting Trump dwarf anything on the other side.. even when it just comes to "political" talkers their numbers are better, you're against the podcast, the comedy scene, the ufc scene, the wwe, all those religious channels, all the red pill alpha bs channels, all the gun channels.. and then the "left" political pundits are also a help as all kinds of channels like this mostly cover what the other internet personalities are saying in little circle jerk instead of having clear messaging of your own.

Oh and by the way there are progressive democrats in the electorate who live in so-called “red states.” They - Cenk and Ana - also don’t seem to understand how politicians - particularly Republicans but not always - can cheat a bill by throwing in unpopular nonsense on the ticket, that has nothing to do with the issues on the bill globally; a method to either have the bill defeated, or to have useless wasteful sh*t passed unaware to the American public. It’s likely the Dems refused to support these bills because Republicans pork barrelled the ticket. So just another way for Cenk and Ana to misinform and misrepresent the facts. The Republicans did it- actually out right voted down - severe boarder security measures that they actually devised in the house! Why because they/ Trump wanted a Republican administration to do it in order to look good for his base..And Americans as a whole just ignore this nonsense.🤦🏿♂️
>>
<<@kingsleybrown7622
says :
So let me get this straight…these two believe that Americans voted for Trump because of an increase in minimum wages - meanwhile ignoring the fact that the Democratic’s provided them employment in the first place, cutting unemployment in half - is the reason people voted Trump?🤦🏿♂️This denial just gets better? I wonder if they realize that the entire world but them - and lying MAGATS - sees this election results for what it is…there’s deep seated sexism in America? Americans with “their bread and butter issues” - what like sexism/racism/bigotry? I guess Dems should’ve leaned more into populist demonization like they have??? I think even Republicans are surprised at how well it worked?😂 Yeah at any rate I’ve lost respect for these two once they started referring to Hillary and Kamala as “dumb”…feeds right into the sexism, the real reason for Dems loss. (They seem to have forgotten the despicable attack adds the Republicans used against female candidates to use such language against women). So yeah no respect, I cannot entertain support for them anymore. Ana is done with progressive politics she says? I hope more and more are done with them. Can’t wait to see Elon and Trump shut this shit down. Karma is the true bitch!

<<@terrywenban6816

Its pretty obvious that division is America's biggest issue which has been a big reason for Trump's rise in power. In Australia we have 4 weeks annual leave, 7 days of public holidays, accumulative sick leave at 7 days a year plus mental health days. To be sacked you have to be paid a redundancy payment usually 1 weeks pay for every year in the job plus a lump sum, when I was made redundant after 7 years I received roughly a years pay.

>>
<<@kingsleybrown7622
says :
No they didn’t vote for Trump because of better wages?? 🤦🏿♂️. (They voted for Republicans bills that Republicans would never pass?) They’re making false correlations and speaking out both sides of their mouths…We are talking about the votes for Trump…period! Trump’s platform never once spoke of increasing minimum wage? So they couldn’t vote for something never mentioned. In fact what Trump did mention was “evil commie radical leftist social policies,” in which is supporters cheered. None of this is relative to voting for Trump…but as Cenk clearly admitted (and like I said before)…they’re looking to join populism to gain support!
