Kamala Harris recognized that she needed to enlist a different kind of leverage on the children that was not just the law from the state. By enforcing a penalty on the parents of the children almost overnight the truancy issue went away because no parent wanted to be in trouble with the law because their child was simply not going to school. The comments pointed out that even the choices of thumbnail between the two candidates is bias and now i cant unsee it.
