They donated a lot more money to colleges and universities. After the globalization scam bankrupted the majority of American small businesses the larger corporations were able to buy up many of those defunct smaller businesses and those multinational corporations became a main source of income for those higher learning institutions. Of course there were strings attached. They would pay for that new science wing IF certain professors were fired and others hired. Of course, different curriculums would need to be used but that is no problem where millions of dollars are concerned. Check out who the major donors to the democrat party are. Check out who owns the major stocks of these huge corporations are, especially media corporations.
