America is NOT obligated to give it's enemies a platform. Artificial intelligence should be used to BAN every last bit of Palestinian propaganda content from American social media platforms. You don't need a search warrant or anything else to ask questions, and you don't have to talk to them. They did not stop him from doing anything. What is the big deal? It was not the article that was the issue; they just informed him he might be involved in a foreign manipulation. He showed a badge, but they just don't want a picture of it because people post pictures of badges on the internet. Stop blowing it out of proportion.>> <<@TheWorldsStage says : This happened to me. Two FBI agents, good looking fellows, showed up in a black '67 Impala asking if there was anything "weird" that was happened recently. You may try to balance coverage. You might be critical of all parties, but there's still bias. Because you don't just "report the news," you also provide perspective and opinions; you're biased! Period! The more important thing is that viewers know what the bias is and evaluate the information and source with extreme prejudice! Ken Klippenstein? I have no idea who he is? But, from what you said. "The FBI wanted to alert him that he could be a victim of an influence scam." The fact that he already knew that is irrelevant. As is the content. In the wake of the RT scandal, better to let folks know! Right? Would it be better that they read his article? Sure! Is it intimidating having the FBI show up at your door? Absolutely! But, it literally sounds like the proverbial nudge, nudge, wink, wink! The metaphorical "you're fly is unzipped" type of visit. Was Hunters' laptop "real" is the discussion that is totally blown out of proportion. First, it wasn't a laptop, it was the hard drive from a laptop! Second, it's provenance is dubious (as you noted). There's no way to confirm it was aquired legally. That means it is not legally admissible in a court of official proceeding. That being the case, it doesn't matter hugely what was on it! And, technically Hunter could hold MTG legally liable for exposing not only his personal information but potentially stolen information.>> <<@omegaprime07 says : The FBI doesn't give visits until they arrest your ass because you did something wrong. Who do you think profits from all the donations for advertisements? Corporate media. Close races generate more donations. When they see Trump and Harris campaigns generating billions and still begging for more, who do you think profits? Corporate media. Division and acrimony mean profits so they let liars lie with impunity. Public financing and pro bono advertisements would be much cheaper. Limiting election cycles to only 6 months per election instead of the 24/7/365 that keeps officials from doing their jobs would be good too.>>
