This said, it's hard to define failure, how about success then?: 1-economy:the USSR had extremely succesful economies, and china still has, and so did: chile, burkina faso, guatemala, etc, but when those same nation minus china became capitalist, their economy crashed. 2-happines:there was a referendum to dissolve the USSR in 1991, 80% said no, so it would be safe to assume soviet citizens did believe their nation was on the right path. This being said, i would really apreciate it if someone gave me another definiton of success and failure to analyze.
