The price of food went up 50%. Inflation has gone up 30%. Housing prices have almost doubled. Had an 'open southern border' where at least 20 million (I keep hearing the number change, this is just an average) migrants poured into our country illegally. The illegal and undocumented entrants are getting offered public assistance and the ability to claim refugee status, despite most of them clearly not being Mexican citizens (despite crossing from Mexico). $200 billion + US Dollars have gone to Ukraine to aid in their war efforts against Russia, despite being on the other side of the world. My heart goes out to innocent citizens in Ukraine, but I'd appreciate if my wallet, and our future, wasn't given to a foreign country by the government in an unprecedented violation of our trust. And now we can add 'a really bad hurricane season just before the election' results in another $700 check to the U.S. citizens who lost their homes and businesses, and an offer of a loan (which they will need to pay back) to compensate them. The media has stuck their head in the sand on these issue, instead focusing on the rights of people to call themselves women, the rights of women to terminate their pregnancies, and misrepresenting words spoken or tweeted by Donald Trump. And let's not forget COVID.
