They started to behave more like control freaks and the decline was obvious to guys like me who were kicking up our heels in the 1970s when a cop would follow you home in your car if you had one too many, and would often hangout and be friendly when we weren't causing trouble. By the time the 1990s came around the cops were immature and pushing their weight around like schoolyard bullies. We can see today they are as bad as most criminals out there and can't be trusted. They just love writing fines to the point I wonder if they get a commission at the end of each month. The cops will bend over for these punks because they are weak and afraid of being called racist when they should be concerned about doing the job we pay them to do. The RCMP are punks with guns and a badge. What they did to Canadians during covid was criminal and they destroyed any trust we might have had in them. They became Trudeau dogs on a leash and were trained to do what he wanted and the law be damned.
