Hear me out: Reverse racism (or more accurately "reverse prejudice") could be used to describe the difference between someone developing a prejudice against a group of people NATURALLY based, on human biases and a fear of what's different, or being taught it by someone else, who has... VS When a group of people has been hurt by or seen others hurt by ANOTHER group of people, to the point where they make the mistake of assuming the entire other group of people are all the same. This is what we're talking about, of course. It is certainly just as prejudice, but it's in response to previous prejudices, hence the term "reverse." The reason I feel this is important, that reverse prejudice, could actually far more dangerous than direct prejudice. Why? Because it can just as easily cause MORE reverse prejudice back from the other side, and then again, from the first side, and again, and again, and we can go back and forth forever, like the Hatfield's and McCoys.
