I was an activist with Eric Adams 35 years ago and he did a lot both in and outside the police department to stop police brutality. He also helped use law enforcement to stop criminality terrorizing the Black community. Eric Adams came from a poor background and came up in grassroots activism. That's why he has street cred and was voting in as Mayor. Give him his day in court before castigating him in the court of public opinion. If not what makes you any better than mainstream media? Lastly, if you live in NYC you'd know rats are all over the place especially in the subways and business center streets at night. It is a BIG BIG problem. So the garbage cans with lids is a serious issue to help address the health problem and blight of rats in the City. With less rats the quality of life and curb appeal of NYC will go up and raise its value as a city of commerce and Tourism.
