I remember listening to his talk radio show in my work truck since it only got AM radio. My initial impression of Charles Adler was he was trying to be the Rush Limbaugh of Canada and I found his takes to be incredibly shallow rather than being insightful. I remember he would always tell this fable story about the special needs boy who the kids help to hit his first home run and lifting each other up made them win the game. Charles Adler was always a pure phoney and a wannabe populist. I’m not surprised he pulled a Mike Duffy and catered to the incumbent Canadian PM just so he could get a Senate seat.
