Has he bothered to look those up!? This very ignorant Minister is in complete denial about the drug problem that is not only impacting the major cities in Canada but also our small rural cities and towns. I moved back to the small town that I grew up in after 40 years in Vancouver. When I left my small town there was absolutely no visible homeless or open drug use back then. I moved back last year, I was absolutely astonished and dismayed to see all the tents along the streets and in our parks where families with children "used" to play. People walking around with the fentynal stoop are everywhere now, and he has the nerve to say that there is a "perseption" of open drug use!? This is, at the same time, happening as the Canadian government has also forged new alliances with big pharma internationally. Couple this with their growing euthanasia program, which is currently attracting more participants, than it is fewer of them. In fact, some folks in Canada's government are working on opening up access to their assisted-suicide program for the mentally ill. Canadians may be understanding this as meaning Canada's government is invested in programs that can either terminate a human life by enabling people to overdose on drugs, or by inviting them to commit suicide.
