But the fact is that a man and woman doing the same job the same amount of time at the same company will most like earn the same. Some exceptions are if the job is has a bonus or pay rate by how much they sale, what clients they snag, what company they work for how hard they work to earn their money etc. a new actress that isn’t as well known will make less even if she has more parts in a movie than a extremely famous actor whose male who is seen a little less. Because his name will bring in more money on the movie. Same if the genders were reversed, the one who brings in the most views will get paid more to be on the movie. A supporting actress will make less than the main male lead if the show can’t be made without him. But more if she will boost sales. Mens spots has a lot more views than women’s so men get paid more in sports. The fight is not the pay difference. The fight should actually be why are these celebrities and athletes getting paid soooo much money when other jobs that are way more important (like teaching) barely make a fraction of that…. Male nurses with less experience than I get hired on making more money than I did on the simple fact that they were male. Bc it was for the same shift, same position I had when I was hired on and everything.
