They don't produce eggs, but with an egg implant, they can get pregnant, go full term and give birth. They never"ever" go through male puberty, and can never have testicles, so they don't ever produce man strength that transexuals benefits from. They possibly might have a internal micro penis though, and flesh that are non developed testicles, where the ovaries should be. but most of the time they don't know and nor do their partners. That's why a lot of people with Swyer syndrome only find out when they and their husband or partner go for test because they can't get pregnant. They have xy chromosome though, but from everything I've ever read, Drs refer to people with Swyer syndrome as "women with an xy chromosome. I think people need to grow up a bit. The question that has to be answered here is essentially "what is womens sports, and why does it exist?" and then the follow-up question is "using that logic, where should this person compete?". I think it's on some level fair to say "they were born with female reproductive organs, is that not how you people constantly defined what makes a woman?". And it's also fair to say that everyone is born with certain advantages, like a higher level of testosterone, that give them an advantage. The question is what constitutes an "unfair" advantage. One could say that me being male is also not an unfair advantage, just a happenstance of birth, and that women should therefore suck it up and compete with me. The reason we don't do that however is because we look at our nieces and daughters and think "I'd like HER to also be able to compete somewhere and not be completely stomped, to compete with those like her to see who is the best of them". Now it seems clear that this athlete does not exactly constitute "like them", regardless of whether or not they're female they don't fit the limited category that has been designed with the idea of giving "half the population a chance to compete" in mind. Luckily there is a second category, "unrestricted", where anyone can join, male or female. Now I could imagine saying this person should be allowed to compete with women if they've truly always been considered as biologically female and do not have an "unfair advantage", so what constitutes an unfair advantage? It would be one where they essentially shut out anyone who doesn't have that same advantage from winning, thereby ruining the sport for anyone who is not the same. In this case do we know if they have an advantage? Well if this condition has say a 1 in 10.000 chance of occurring. Then the chance of the winner happening to have this condition is 1 in 10.000, and look, the winner does happen to have this condition....what are the odds? Now I admit the odds are actually slightly higher because of confirmation bias, there are also sports where the winner DIDN'T have this condition....but then you hear both finalists have XY chromosomes....I find this rather unlikely without an advantage. I also admit that this person would themselves be at a disadvantage in the unrestricted category, but then we come back to why we have categories and what constitutes an unfair advantage. You'll never be able to give EVERYONE a fighting chance, there are too many variables, but there is a difference in shutting out 50% of the population, and less than 1%.>> <<@iwersonsch5131 says : Did the IBA ever claim that Khelif has XY chromosomes?
