Thanks for sharing.>> <<@armandoresident says : I feel really lucky living in Mexico right now. As a Software Engineer, I bring in about 62k after taxes, and I’m based in a small city near the capital. I’m not rolling in money or anything, but my life is pretty comfortable. I don’t stress about finances, and I can hit up restaurants, bars, or shows whenever I want. I can grab all the groceries I need without worrying about the cost. Plus, I’ve got some savings and a solid healthcare plan. My job can be a bit stressful, but it’s worth it.>> <<@mindforgecollective says : Lesson I learned 20 years ago. Most Americans don't have an income problem. We have a spending problem. This video is a perfect example. The guy making 25k a year is able to survive, but notice that the more they make the more they spend. Once I understood that I changed my approach. I started saving half my income and investing the other half. Living this way for a while you will look broke or poor, but always have money. You'll never be stressed over an emergency. And after a while your investment income will start to exceed your full time income. Your welcome. Wish someone taught me this earlier.>> <<@blaze376192 says : I make over 100k, and NO WAY IN HELL can I afford to pay almost 3k a month on living>> <<@DragonDios1 says : problem is that people also spend a lot more, when they earn more>> <<@samplautz5586 says : It’s so weird that I’m 23 and make more than 50 percent of Americans. And it’s still almost impossible to live on my own. I make 40k per year, but it’s 29k with tax>> <<@mgriffin959 says : $25k job = multiple jobs… easy math. I did it for years.>> <<@BladeTheWatcher says : Very good article. Unfortunately I think that the trend can't be reversed, not in this situation. Land-Labor-Capital. In the last 50 years values moved to capital. You can buy land in other countries, you can buy labor in other countries, so laborers, or arable land have become worthless in the richer part of the world. Let's face it - your George is trash for the American society, Simon is more like necessary, but unwanted. These people can be replaced by others living in poorer lands, from more like $1000 or $5000 a year. Or, more like, their work competes with machines and AI, and can be replaced fully by capital investment. Even Tim feels this, now belonging to a top-lower class rather than a middle-class, and can't afford what his parent could afford with the same jobs. There is a dark version of the future where 90% of the population will become worthless, and the capital will just decide to get rid of them. Let them starve. Robots and AI will do their jobs cheaper, and these robots only need to sustain 10% of the population. Remember, capital is a very dumb animal - its only goal is to grow the best it can!>> <<@brettk9316 says : Crazy this guy was looking at same pictures and views as me of Lake Como, Italy couple months back when I was pretending I won the lottery and buying a beautiful Italian home 😆>> <<@prasanthukral9385 says : misleading video. He is a dem alright also wtf would 1m person would take his entire pay like that he wouldn't try to take stock option or maxing out 401k and many other way to not get taxed also like 100k person is not rich>> <<@ivanban84 says : I was once Tim and used to drive a Camry and lived in a small $1500 1bed apt and (luckily) hardly ever had to go to the doctor or purchased organic food. Saved a bunch to be able to buy a house later. I started living the Tim lifestyle only once I got to about 1.5-2x of Tim.>> <<@lazerlabmusic says : Please don't call the US the richest country in the world. It's simply very far from the truth. Best regards from Norway>> <<@harshalpawar951 says : buddy, an yt channel named Aevy TV used this idea to create the same exact idea and made a video which went above a million views? Hope its all known!>> <<@jacnelson3423 says : Impressive video with trading, technical analysis skills alone are not enough; discipline and emotional maturity are also crucial for success. The saying "time in the market vs. timing the market" is a good mindset to have during market fluctuations. Thanks to Shea Ardolf’s insights, daily trade signals, and my dedication to learning, I've been increasing my daily earnings. Keep it up!>> <<@llamafromspace says : Woah. Who on earth edited this?!? If it’s Ai, fire them! Great important honest look at reality, yet the gawd awful distractions that come from all the crazy background noises and that atrocious ringing?!?!?? WHHHHYYYYY?!? It’s infuriating!>> <<@s.gilbertdyer8683 says : Proof that income tax is a scam and sale tax is massively overlooked.>> <<@eurasiacentertutorials9518 says : Oh so the conclusion to this is socialism. Who the fuck is buying a 50K car and doesn’t own a house struggling to find a place to live? Just take that guy out back of the dealership and put him out of his misery. If you’re dropping over 20K on a ride it better be a fucking deal. Never buy brand new unless you got money like that. I’m literally laughing at this expense breakdown. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills.>> <<@davidrizoo says : Hermano, hiciste un vídeo increíble y lleno de mucho valor.>> <<@happyzahn8031 says : marginal tax rate is only 10% since there is a $13850 single deduction. Take the bus! Healthcare is almost free under obamacare since the govt. subsidizes most of it. I know someone who makes $34k/yr and pays about $350/yr for their plan. Looks like you'll have to cut out internet (use the library) or cell phone (which cheapest plans are like $6/mo. or you can buy a burner phone with X minutes of calls but that's still money). Yep, you don't really need either. I lived without for quite a while, saving up money. Get out and volunteer if you need something to do or want same exercise.>> <<@mattm1686 says : No wonder the average income earner is mostly pissed off how one person can make barely any money and another person for some reason is worth $25 million is beyond me income inequality in this country is out of control>> <<@d-traino9435 says : I'm very early 20's and being out on my own. Surprised he didn’t blame climate change.>> <<@vovahimself says : Awesome video but you should’ve made it all about one person getting paid increasingly more. I make 70k a year, but I live in an expensive city, so I guess I actually fit in with the 40k crowd.>> <<@pbilk says : In Canada, and being wise I can easily rent and live off $4000 CAD/month after taxes. Now, being married with my spouse maternity pay and a monthly bonus from the government to help cover the cost of having some children I could still live a reasonably comfortable living with some savings in a mutual fund and some savings towards a down to a home if I wish to do that. I guess an extra bonus in Canada we don't spend near as much on health. If you are doing well, can go a few or many months without medical expenses unless you include a gym membership or some sort of sport activity as health expenses.>> <<@voiboi405 says : This mofo ain’t using headspace for sure>> <<@mikadotz says : whers the original for 14.04 video>> <<@coppertop0709 says : What is your source for the claim that 40k/yr salary in the US is "average"? This is inconsistent with the median reported by BLS overall, and is quite lower than the value representing those employed full-time. The video appears to have been posted in 2024. I presume what you hope to represent by sharing this information is the circumstances of full-time workers, not skewed by those only working part-time?>> <<@WilliamH599 says : Don't worry, Kamala will take from the rich and give to the poor.>> <<@kartikaalst7354 says : What i dont get is that the $40,000 could just live cheaply like the $25,000 income guy and save up loads. Not $40,000. $40K per year is still living in poverty>> <<@TheWild_Living_Nature says : Food Pantry>> <<@astudentpilotlife says : Mmm, this very depend. I bought my 5 bedroom house at age 22yo while working part time and in school. And rented out the other 4 remaining room. And I still have alot left to enjoy life on budget or less strict.>> <<@love.kindness.respect39 says : Full of communist propaganda... You have not proven that the rich drive the cost up for the lower brackets. Taxing the rich is another way to steal money from productive people from highly educated people that fund your health care and education.>>
