<<@franziskani says : These people believe in god. Well, god created the little ones to have incredible energy and need for movement. It is hard for a 2 year old to sit still in a restaurant. The child WAS being nice, it kicked the leg of the table because its body is supposed to move. All the time. - And then blaming the child for the humiliation of slapping it in the face. They are also crazy, no one can take good care of 8 kids in a row. obviously they lack the patience even when only one is present at the interview. I wonder that they do to the children when not strangers are witnessing.>> <<@onthedownside says : I'm 47 the END of my bloodline and that's OK! I'm not against kids or commitments probably won't have children.May not be OK with J.D. but that's cool with myself..peace>> <<@whyis45stillalive says : When corporal punishment was taken out of schools, many kids no longer faced consequences for their actions.>> <<@kriscynical says : If doing it to an adult would catch you a charge, doing it to a child doesn't magically make it okay. Don't. Hit. People. That includes children.>> <<@jupiterthree5228 says : My great grandma used to hold a gun to her kids heads. My grandma hit my mom, my mom spanked her kids and let men spank us, slapping me in the face once and throwing a cup of water in my face another time, I haven't spoken to her in 18 years. She can die alone. I've watched a few of their YouTube videos. They talk about bopping their kids, they say other parents should "think about bopping your kids">> <<@wintermatherne2524 says : So???>> <<@mateoatehortua3716 says : Is there really a need for more people having kids, when the earth can barely produce food for those here?>> <<@Mjddjmmjd says : I will not have a child in Trump's country.>> <<@donneiacaprice says : That b**ch came out so smooth šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ I love it!!>> <<@themsmidge69 says : Ok so I canā€™t help myself -Iā€™m watching and I canā€™t shut up!! If he finds it acceptable and effective to slap a child across the nose because they tend to ā€˜get in an emotional loopā€™ a tap on his special parts may encourage him to be a little more empathetic to someone elseā€™s personal rights. Before making the mistake of bringing more children into the world he should do some serious research-take some classes on child psychology, parenting, and maybe work in a preschool for awhile so he gets a realistic idea of what age appropriate behaviors in kids are.>> <<@themsmidge69 says : I taught two year olds in preschool for years and have four children of my own. They come out of the womb wired by nature to live. Instincts that are not necessarily needed these days are what helped the human race adapt, advance and invent-to see problems and solve them, to make their own way in the world based on incoming information. The ā€˜defianceā€™ and difficult behaviors many people try to suppress or even punish In children are the same ones that make them continue to pull themselves up and let go to take steps, even when they fall over and over. To punish a child at that age for such a minor transgression and w/o hesitation shows that that is a normal and regular way he treats his kids. Not only do I think he should remove himself from the gene pool, but someone should call Child Protective Services to monitor whatā€™s going on in their house!>> <<@Mej_Javiky says : This is not news.>> <<@danikahholdman2609 says : I am not against spanking, although I do understand the arguments against it. This though, isn't spanking. It's so sinister. It's not punishment. It's humiliation. There's a difference between spanking on the butt or the hand and slapping a child in the face. It's like when you hold a child's head down, forcing it in something. It's just so sinister and cruel. If you're seeking to humiliate your child as a form of 'punishment', that's abuse.>> <<@juliepowell8494 says : What does he do behind closed doors if he does this in public during an interview?!!!>> <<@cdavidson2018 says : Slapping not cool but the kid only whimpered the baby didn't cry?>> <<@scottn322 says : My sons mother used to do that. It eventually escalated to where I was literally physically pulling her off of our 4 year old as she held him down on his bed with her arm raised and her hand clenched into a fist. That was the end, I kicked her out and we have never looked back, but it still eats at me years later thar I didn't do it sooner. I have never and will never hit my son. Not in anger, not as punishment, not while playing, not under any circumstances ever.>> <<@brendalong3852 says : My parents used to spank me and all it did was make me more careful of what they saw. Rebellious behaviors, yeah no. Why? Because it only creates bad feelings, and in no way actually works to quell rebellious behavior.>> <<@Feralfoundry says : Why do we keep lawding attention on couples who's greatest accomplishment is breeding? We are having to deal with climate change. Maybe (BIG maybe here) once everyone in the world has clean, safe drinking water, enough food to eat and a place to live comfortably we can bring up the conversation on "natalism". While children starve, families live in their cars or in tent cities, iffy drinking water, no health or dental care, no safe child care, limited educational opportunities and all this is happening now in one of the richest countries in the world creating people isn't a viable option. Unless, of course, you're trying to bring serfdom back. And for those who have their heads in the sand, yes, the country I'm referring to is the USA. I think lots of minority children are spanked, and they will continue to be spanked. I believe in spanking because sometimes you need your children to understand how dangerous a situation or something they may have done is. I know growing up I probably got 4-5 spankings. We were taught to behave, and how to speak to people. When I see videos of teenagers getting in adults faces or telling police officers they can't arrest them, and they don't have to cooperate shocks me every time. I was taught to talk to people respectfully and to insist on being treated respectfully. I know if I approach someone aggressively, I should expect them to respond in kind. You only know your point of view. Most parents are trying to teach their children how to be successful, contributing citizens. There are things non-white parents have to consider when raising their children that you would not understand.>> <<@namegoeshere3838 says : 100% agree, especially with Anna. A slap to the face is disrespectful. I was spanked, including the old "go get a switch off the tree">> <<@Chelle778 says : I took a parenting class as a young mom and was told that some kids can get a little swat on bum and say," Well I deserved that." But for some kids when they get a swat for disbehaving, their security and psyche is adversely affected. And since there are better non-violent ways to disciplon kids, why use it? Laziness and habit is why most folks do it.>> <<@dawnr7798 says : If he did that in public imagine what he does at home. I think he deserves a visit from DCS.>> <<@Bohemian-Nilda says : Arenā€™t they also encouraging women on public assistance to have a house full of children for us all to feed? But wait a minute now! I wonder what he does to his wife.........>> <<@susanannlangford says : Don't hit children, we never hit our children and they turned out to be kind and decent human beings>> <<@jjbud3124 says : I had 3 kids. None of them ever got smacked in the face. None of them were ever whipped on the butt or anywhere else. Smacking a 2-year-old in the face is ridiculous. Kicking a table by a 2-year-old is not being "bad", it is just being a 2-year-old. A 2-year-old isn't even old enough to understand cause and effect. In order words, he doesn't understand what he was slapped for.>> <<@michaeljura6040 says : Idiocracy.>> <<@biteth3hand585 says : Some kids need the physical discipline.
