Used car for 2-5k or a new one for 40-60k, this is easy maths, hell even I bought a death trap bike before my cruiser after I was settled.. You guys need funds to stop going over seas and fix your local economies very soon or you are going to have serious breakdowns.

I am driving the same truck I bought brand new in 2004... I have had my Dodge Ram for 20 years. I recently pulled a trailer on a 3 hour trip.. I trust my 20 year old more than I new truck... I have always had maintenance done when needed. I even take it in and have stuff done that is not broke. I took it in and had all rubber hoses from coolant hours and the front rubber lines to the calipers replaced even though it wasn't needed.. prevention is the key

I work 70 hrs a week. I make close to 200K a year my everyday car is a 2003 Honda. It runs good it gets me to work and I’m happy with it. I’m going to run it until it gives up. Because it’s the only way to make it worth the cost of a car anymore. And when it dies the next vehicle will be treated the same. Kept until it can’t be fixed anymore. And still it would be an investment loss 20 years from now.

I got rid of my 2005 Pacifica like a dufus!! 🤡 It had minor body needs, probably under 2k and needed a little detailing to freshen up...not even much. Great engine! I got rid of it in 2021, it had been paid for for YEARS! I have a note now, only 380 per month, but nothing beats free, man. Luckily, it will be pd for next year, and I will drive it til it needs to be pushed to go. BUT ---- WHO tf is doing something about this economy??? This is scary! We need to really need to STOP supporting big businesses...car manufacturers...no business to stadiums that bear their names etc etc. This really socks that our government/powers that very are so evil that they are doing this.

The only way I'd buy an EV is when the replacement cost of a battery is less than 2k, and you can do it yourself in increments, as needed, and as I can afford it. Even then, its a LOT of battery, weight and space-wise. For a prius, its 5k with labor, for a Tesla, its 5k to 28k (!!!) with labor!

Anyone buying these new cars or trucks for $85k and plus is handicapping themselves in this economy. New cars are meant to be replaced, old cars are meant to be rebuilt.

It’s all the corporate circle cycle strategy always has been I’ve seen this happen when I was building cars/ engines first comes highly developed dependable cars made with real steel and cast iron engines 😊 then here come aluminum and plastic parts sure their light weight but don’t hold up to heat stress over a short period of time 🤨 I remember on the news report decades ago that American car engineers were going to china and china will show them how to build cars more efficiently that was the downfall to the industry 😞 they flooded the market with mixed metals (known as pot metals) made cars with it (aswell tools 🛠️ ) all designed to limited life spans to yield maximum profit/ resale agendas so now the rule of thumb is the prettiest packaging just hide a pill of 💩 with a high price ! The dealership are waiting for you because they know you’ll be back while they’re laughing all the way to the bank 🏦 thinking you’re a dumba$$ no thanks I’ll die with a wrench 🔧 in my hand 💪 independence is strength strong 💪 strong 💪 strong 💪 Peace ABL
