Fact being it IS a mental illness and needs to be addressed as such STILL. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, shi+e most of our Genius' were labeled as mental. Having a mental Illness is not a death sentence and should not be stigmatized. However, having a UNDIAGNOSED/ UNTREATED mental Illness puts everyone in danger. I mean I don't see us opening the doors on the state institutions wide open to allow the "crazies" free. These people need medical attention and a lifetime of continued mental health treatment and interventions. I can say this with personal experience. I have mental illness. And I work in Healthcare.
