I do not send my money to pornhub just because they have a right to free speech and need entertainment. Many of these products on the market are not good enough to buy me as a person and take up space in my home. What we spend money on is a reflection of who we are.

I only partially agree. The Bud Light thing, for example, isn't a standard "boycott", because it wasn't organized. It was millions of people individually choosing to not do business, and not one person or an organization trying to convince people to change their buying practices as a means of increasing that one person's bargaining leverage against the company. THIS I like... a company pisses me off, I stop doing business with them. But I _DON'T_ try to convince other people to do I do. I think _THAT'S_ wrong. As far as Ben-&-Jerry's... they donated to BLM, and I don't support companies that sponsor terrorism. So I haven't bought their products in literally years.

Even applying Prager's lofty and generous standard, it is still consistent to be anti-boycotts and to crusade against Disney because the product has declined. The movies are no longer good, they parade moral depravity in front of kids, etc.

I grew up loving Disney. I thought that it was good. It was like a moral, stalwart, family member that you could beleive in. Seeing their moral decay and seeing the inside of the company and what the managers and executives stand for has disturbed me. Seeing them sexualize childhood and turn into a school for child indoctrination of that which is perverse has dusgusted me. Its like watching that family member that you loved and trusted, groom your child. I wont willing go there. My children were all very disappointed recently when I told them we wouldnt go there anymore or take anymore Disney cruises.

<<@J040PL7

I agree that the owners can think whatever they want and we should judge the product, not the owner, but when the product gets infected by the owners way of thinking, thats when you need to draw the line and boycott. For example, if ben and jerrys start putting their ideology on the wrappers of their products or their products to advertise views which you dont support, then you shouldn't use theit products anymore, because then your money is supporting views which you don't.
