First the Fentanyl across the border - over 95% of it is coming across at the LEGAL checkpoints, and are being brought across by WHITE AMERICAN CITIZENS. Almost none of it is being brought by the undocumented migrants. And the amount that has been STOPPED and SEIZED at the borders has vastly increased, that is a good thing, not a bad thing. Second, President Biden is TRYING to secure the border better. The GOP were poised to help with this in more heavily funding the US Border patrol, getting them more troops, getting them better, equipment, etc. FORMER president trump has Screamed for the GOP to not do anything. He screamed that they NEEDED the border crisis to continue. Also he screamed for them to shut down the government and refuse all funding bills, and to basically make as huge a mess as possible, so he could campaign on it and blame President Biden for their behaviors. So when the government shuts down due to the GOP refusing to pay the nation's bills, they will show what they are doing. The Border crisis?
