I like what Porter has done in being so fact-based and confrontational with guests in the House hearings where she participates. But I'm not sure if she has a broad enough vision, knowledge base or expertise on bigger domestic and foreign issues of consequence. Lee hasn't conveyed enough of her progressive vision that would make her appealing enough to the more waffling liberals of the state. My plan is to vote for Porter in an attempt to help her make it to second place in the primary, so that she and Schiff will face off in the general election rather than having Schiff against the noxious, cowardly, no-nothing trumpist Garvey.>> <<@flyvtec04 says : California needs new leaders. Garvey was pathetic, everyone could see he plans to support Trump if he wins, and just stated canned Republican talking points with no enthusiasm. In terms of Israel, I think Porter's stance was the most reasonable, a cease-fire should be the goal, but an indefinite one will not happen tomorrow. Since when is Cenk undecided he said he wants the winner to be Barbara Lee like a million times, I think it is risky because it increases the likelihood that an establishment governor will pick her replacement since she is in her late seventies. if you want a long-lasting progressive senator, Porter is the smart choice.
