First of all, let's be clear. All this talk about hydration and skin and health is BULL SHIT! There is no evidence that points to the need for hydrating so often. Your body will tell you when you need to drink - it's called THURST!!!!!! It's an evolutionary adaptation. It's like eating. You wouldn't carry a hamburger and fries around with you all day every day so you can keep your stomach full so you don't get hungry and run out of energy. It's just marketing crap by water sellers. STOP BELIEVING CRAP science and health information from advertisers and influencers. People have survived for many many hours on trips and work without having a water bottle in hand all the time. My god, we didn't even have water bottles when I grew up and all those people are healthy grandparents today. OMG! The world is crazy. So many sheep and so few skeptics. Even John with his "my skin" comment has fallen for the lies.

I know not caring doesn't always work for bullying, but I have a summer birthday and as a kid my classmates tried to bully me for not being able to bring cup cakes to school to celebrate my birthday like they did. I just responded with how much I didn't care that they didn't get cup cakes because my parents would take me and a friend to a theme park for the day. We weren't super rich so I didn't get any trinkets from the theme park and we'd take a picnic and eat lunch in the parking lot before going back in, but we got to ride the rides and have fun together. I think it only worked because I had that card to play and the friend we'd take every birthday went to the same school and backed me up but my parents certainly wouldn't have bought me this cup either. We usually had to be pretty frugal with money and a $45 cup would not have been in the budget. I would have had to just deal.

I wore Payless shoes too but i wasn't affected by bullying 🤷 I rocked my LA Gear🩷 I remember one kid turned up her 🐽 nose looking at my feet and asked me why i was wearing them... I looked at my feet and was like, what's wrong with them? Somebody said they were buddies 😂😂😂but i distinctly remember the boys boosting me up like, no they're not they're cute you can wear what you want. 🤷 I was kinda arrogant If you "tried" to pick on me its because you were a lower life form... To this day, cant quite remember which girl said that....🤔 Nor which boyz defended me... I just know i liked my LA Gear...i think they had pink unicorns 🦄 🤗

So Target stocks these at $45 a pop, they make $15-20 a cup Stanley makes $25-30 and both companies get richer. Corporate greed at it's finest and the dumbasses are falling for it. I have 2 plastic rubber maid bottles which cost $5 bucks and a metal one I bought at Dollarama for $4. so that's 3 for $9. Makes a hell of a lot more sense to me

We can all remember the intense feelings of wanting to fit in at school. So, I have no doubt that parents will buy their child this cup. Regardless, the most important thing you can do is talk with kids and make sure they know a $50 cup is not what makes them or any of their classmates valuable. You’d be amazed how many kids will be thoughtful about it, and even come to the point of view that it’s a silly thing to spend $50 on.

My kids went to school nearly twenty years ago. Yes, John, they were supposed to have water bottles. And snacks.
Those mother f*cking snacks. And god help you if you didn't send them to school with these things. You'd get notes from the teacher and calls from the principal's office. And if the water bottle was left in the classroom and fell to the floor as students were exiting -- either accidentally, or purposely toppled by some little shit -- the janitor would just sweep it up with the rest of the trash and throw it out. That, plus kids' inability to keep track of too much stuff, those frikkin bottles got lost all the time.
