Kash Patel said as much during an appearance on Hannity not long after the Mar-a-Lago raid. I think it was when the redacted affidavits used to justify the warrant were released, and Kash Patel's name was conspicuously unredacted. He said that between them all, the Trump team managed to retrieve about half of the "Russia-gate file". These would be the documents that informed the (still classified) Nunes Memo, and Patel's children's book "The Plot Against the King". He didn't come out and say the raid on Mar-a-Lago was about retrieving that binder, but anyone can put 2 and 2 together. That binder inculpates a LOT of people, none of whom are named Donald J Trump. I said at that time that Trump probably took it as a life insurance policy. He'd have made digital copies, stored them somewhere safe, and set them to upload on a dead man's switch if anything... suspicious ever happens to him. I recall hearing right after the raid happened that the last time the National Archive people and FBI were there sifting through documents on Trump's invitation, he stuck his head in the door and told them not to worry about anything important falling into the wrong hands. "I keep all my important papers in my office safe." I ALSO heard that his office safe was the VERY first thing they searched when they raided Mar-a-Lago. And pretty much all they found inside were his passports. Dude is a master troll. The FBI searched EVERYTHING they were allowed to, even Melania's panty drawer and under Barron's mattress. They even bagged and tagged his passports (two of which had expired). You remember how, when things were going sour for Nixon, he went on a shredding spree? Yeah, the raid was not about preserving documents and records. The idea that there's only one copy of ANY official government document is ridiculous, especially in this day and age. Documents aren't hard to scan, and thumb drives are easy to hide and distribute. This is why they're all losing their minds. I think Tucker Carlson is right. He's going to win, and they have nothing left but assassination. But they can't until they retrieve those files. They can dismiss any digital copies as fakes. They won't fool everyone, but the case against them wouldn't be iron-clad. Hence their raid. They need to find the original evidence of their malfeasance. I think I know where the originals are. All these Democrats who corrupt our democracy. They answer to the Almighty God. That's what will happen someday.
