Hopes of one movie fan, regarding media content: .On love, sex, violence, and censorship: -do a slow fade as a sheet gets pulled over the couple, but spare me the fake sex scenes. -a passionate kiss is can be glorious; bobbing for tonsils is not. -show respect for vows, oaths, and other personal commitments; don’t treat adultery, lies, and so on as acceptable. -swearing is natural, so go easy on such speech; leave the exuberant language of Katt Williams to his specials. -violence is real, and should be treated so. Never sanitize it, and do not glorify it. -do not treat issues like drug abuse (including alcohol,) crime, addictions, and mental health problems as fun, evil, etc. These are issues of individuals, not groups. -Ben Stein could be a great character actor.
