I knew people who got bigger checks in the form of SSI than people who got checks from Social Security, people who actually contributed for their retirement. It should have happened years ago. I'm not saying he's wrong in this video but it's just old news that hasn't happened yet. There are also multiple videos on YouTube right now that talk about how payouts will be increasing, benefit taxing will be decreasing, and changes to the tax system to prop up SS solvency.
