Every single decision on releasing the water has been gone over by TONS of experts in this field and they all finally agree that this water is completely safe. The new Small Modular ones can be built in factories and be in service quick... plus be located closer to the need so less energy is lost in distribution of electric over long distances .... I mean the upper atmosphere produces about 140g to 200g of tritium each year and the pacific ocean contains around 8400g, while Japan is planning on releasing less than 3g. Japan releasing the waste water is the least of our problems.
