History repeatedly shows this lack of fortitude where money is concerned. The reason why they can't just use physical silver and gold is because there's not enough of it to keep this ridiculous monstrosity of a global market alive. Subsequently, they have to manipulate the perception that there is. And the only way to do that is to lie...another one of those character flaws. Governments want to continue their unbridled spending, and they wouldn't be able to do that in a restrictive environment, requiring them to follow a budget using nothing but physical gold and silver because there's not enough of it. Hence, the fiat replacement or "promised" gold-backed currency. We'll that was the original intent of what got us to where we are today. We need people of ethical fortitude to reright the human trajectory, and those models no longer exist.
