If they feel they're gender A and they trained their whole lives to be athletes, obviously they'd want to compete in their chosen vocation for the gender they feel they belong to. On the other hand, however, a lot of biological women trained THEIR whole lives to compete only to now look at a future where all of the top spots in a lot of categories are going to be held by trans women because they had the benefit of male hormones during their formative years to guide and shape the growth of their body and musculature. Is it fair that all of those women have to accept that they'll never see a medal of any colour (unless it's a participation trophy) ever again so trans athletes can compete with them instead of with the colleagues that they share physical advantages with? In my eyes, the answer is no. I'm not making any rules, mind, just my 2 cents on the issue. Nobody is to blame for this, really, we're just in a situation where two groups want things that are mutually exclusive and I stand with the group that has the most to lose - trans athletes can still compete with the men or other trans athletes and be no worse off, there's no other category for biological women to compete in on an even playing field if they're driven out of their own category by trans athletes. I don’t want people who are pretending to be trans to try to take advantage of this similarly to Cartman in the Special Olympics or when he actually DID pretend to be trans and I don’t want people who are genuinely trans to be forced into a position where they have an advantage they don’t want and are bullied for it.>>
