Why your elections are held during weekday, not on the weekends? 2. What is the problem with showing your ID when going to the polling station. In here it is totally normal that when you go to the premises where voting is taking place you're asked about your name, you się your ID and you get your paper ballot. But whenever in USA the same issue is raised it is regarded as voter surpression and against minorities. And Ana said that voting again is an "effort". In here we have polling stations literally a short walk away and voting is always during weekends. Many people vote when they come back from church or go to buy bread or just when they are on the walk. And you don't have to "register" anywhere, when you turn 18 you automatically gain your voting rights.
