<<@lashangelsam says : Is this video satire?? Cause this video illustrates the exact reason why work spouses are inappropriate>> <<@philipaubin4679 says : It may be akin to the idea of emotional cheating where the spouse's primary non sexual relationship is with a work colleague to whom the spouse turns to for comfort and support instead of the partner.>> <<@sabino64 says : 😅>> <<@grapplerunit says : Sound like insecure attachment>> <<@anthonyesc8089 says : Lmao John with the jokes>> <<@hufflepunkslitherclaw7436 says : Im a preschool teacher, my work bestie has my 3 year old in her class. Our joke is that we are co-raising my child>> <<@faithfulmer says : My fiancé has a work wife, which I have no problem with. They’re colleagues and friends. I like her a lot actually. We are in our 50s.>> <<@suerawley3141 says : My ex's work spouse became his spouse. 😂😂😂>> <<@anthonystewart3185 says : Yeah work spouse makes a partner jealous>> <<@anthonystewart3185 says : Of course the women I have dated very anti that>> <<@anthonystewart3185 says : Yet it was group home and lived in same building 3 years>> <<@anthonystewart3185 says : I was a work spouse for a 70 year old woman and we talked about job. It was just platonic and respect>> <<@champlainscrap6076 says : If your work spouse is the same gender. Yeah sure. Anything else will lead to cheating. Even same gender might lead to cheating.>> <<@Sincerealise says : It’s referred to as spouse because it’s more than just a friend, it denotes the amount of time you spend together because of meetings and strategizing together, sometimes even banding together against other coworkers or bosses>> <<@steveeuphrates-river7342 says : John with the much better hair today!>> <<@Trolls-Be-like says : Idk I am not sure what I'm considered I'm past the millenial generation (I'm 38) ... So whatever gen I am.... I don't think work spouses are a good idea. It's resulted in many extra marital affairs (I've seen it ... And people at work know ... And it's not a good look professionally or otherwise.) Now I'm not saying that's always the case. However, from what I've seen in corporate America white and blue collar jobs I've worked...... People leave their family to marry their (co worker spouse). It's divided families and cause more hurt than good ..... Also, about 65% of the time these random relationships and work spouses that do leave their significant other to be with their (work spouse) ends badly. Then they've compromised their family, original significant other and many times their actual job. Most corporations have a clause that relationships amongst the workplace are against HR and Compliance policy...>> <<@dreembarge says : Those two make such a cute "work couple". 😉>> <<@starfishandroid says : Me and my wife have work wives and we’re only allowed to have sex with them on business trips. We dont ask. Don’t tell. And we can tell when 2 other work spouses have a relationship as well.. (cough cough Anna and Woz)>> <<@leroymyboy says : 1982 I'm an Aries! She my wife she my life and she do what she wants!!>> <<@savannahhale9014 says : It’s getting polyamorous in here 🥵 😬>> <<@Armeddragon12 says : Its stupid. Men love the comradery with other men when it comes to workplace issues. Doesn't mean they are homo-work husbands. lmao. Such a dumb concept.>> <<@idontwantcorporateretaliat6301 says : Is a "work spouse" a coworker you're friends with of the opposite sex w/benefits?>> <<@raybrun6259 says : Its clear yall don't know what a work spouse is.. especially ana... Lemme give you a hint, the word "spouse" isn't in there by mistake>> <<@PhillyLFC says : Here’s an example wouldn’t cops partner be their “Work spouse”>> <<@SpanishPeanut says : Sometimes people spend more time at work so they have a “work spouse.” It’s strictly platonic, someone you can commiserate about work with etc. My husband works with a woman with the same last name, who he calls “the other Mrs. Crawford.” It doesn’t bother me a bit.>> <<@gordontall2441 says : I'm glad Jon trimmed his hair. It was starting to look like shit>> <<@Princesspandapop says : Work spouses?! That’s a no for me. Happy Endings did a funny episode on it. 😂😅😂😅😂>> <<@movieguy7882 says : I feel like neither of them understand what a work spouse is lol>> <<@Mighty_nightOwl says : The term is usually work-wife Usually has your back especially when u r not present …>> <<@caitieeeee says : I love John and Ana's friendship lol>> <<@kmarcol1 says : I have a work husband and it's completely platonic. He just looks out for me at work. This new generation is soft>> <<@hughjassol2072 says : Work Spouse is a disgusting term. It’s called a coworker or friend.>> <<@taylorphoenix8 says : Millennials are a generation of peoples whose families and lives were torn apart by infidelity, and the term “work spouse” is immediately triggering in the face of that sentimentality and sensitivity of that issue.>> <<@thepokekid01 says : I think the term "Work Spouse" is just a little too undefined. Term alone sounds like you are cheating, but you read the definition and it's really just a best work friend. I'm also under the understanding that you can have more than one and people don't get jealous. (I've never heard of people getting jealous). I don't know, I just come away with not liking the label.>> <<@solutionencryption968 says : We are humans and if a person works with someone who is there for you emotionally that could become an attraction then its not something you should play with or treat as insignificant. You have to be responsible and concious of your feelings. Maybe see a therapist that has a legall obligation to protect againt misunderstood emotions.>> <<@virginiachris80 says : Have fun explaining to HR that no we are just "Work Spouses">> <<@howardmulvihill6726 says : I've worked in the service industry all my life and there is no 401K for that.>> <<@mr.sushi2221 says : I mean if I’m gettin it at night and there’s no intent then who cares>> <<@avirichar4981 says : yeah the term is nonsense, only getting at part of what's meant while deliberately introducing what doesn't apply and key implications that undo the whole point of the thing itself, so...whoever rely's on it, researchers or anyone else, just spinning up controversy for extra eyeballs in a very trollish/clickbaity kinda way>> <<@LightningPoop says : this is a stupid ass study.>> <<@ryderalexander5612 says : A lot of work spouses tend to be flirtatious in my experience and they'll often butt in and in scenarios where they're interacting with the actual partner it's treated like competition. Having support and friends at work but often work spouses are just cheating emotionally without saying it or someone is legitimately pursuing your partner. Friends or even best friends at work isn't a big deal but when people in monogamous relationships aren't acting like it issues arise. It's a weird line to toe in my head as soon as it's called a work spouse it's when you should question the dynamic if that's not already a conversation you've had with your partner. Case by case.>> <<@TJ-tu5xc says : As a millenial i feel like i have seen so much sexual misconduct at work among the generations before us, experienced it myself and finally been a big part of the me too "movement". I feel like we have fought so hard for removing sexually or romantically charged language out of the workplace, that the last thing i want to hear is people bringing romantic terms back into it. So, i don't have a problem with work spouses, i do have some myself, but i have an issue with the terminology. I just call them my friends at work or my best work friends or best colleagues.>> <<@thebowandbullet says : Maybe less than age/generation, it's *_married people_* finding work spouses inappropriate? Would explain this well. Really young people aren't married yet. Much older people are more likely widows/widowers/divorced, etc.>> <<@Terrell070 says : What did Gen X say on this?>> <<@stevenwalkersongs says : I think it's more about what age you are rather than which generation.>> <<@bellad1063 says : Doesn’t everyone!? Wait!? What!? Who brings the heavy stuff?! Of course he needs lotion 🧴 for his hands because you have the boat bag with everything in it!>> <<@MustbeTheBassest says : "isn't it just a friend?" No, which is the whole debate. No one is saying you can't have friends at work. It's a quasi relationship with an inappropriate level of intimacy. With I guess it's the debate. How much intimacy is "inappropriate" with someone other than your spouse. To be it simply, it's not a BFF at work. There's romantic feelings and dynamics with a work spouse.>> <<@martinrc80 says : I have 2. 1 is a man the other is a woman 🤷‍♂️. I never called them that, that’s just what coworkers say about us.>> <<@Kingnome says : Again, Gen X not being mentioned in surveys.>> <<@logicalanswer3529 says : Are you guys going to be covering the trans person who identifies as Lilly being arrested for attempting to shoot up three schools?>>
