To the extent liberal voices are being "silenced", I think what she getting at is that Big Brother Liberals like herself find themselves losing arguments with conservatives. They give up once they realize they are beaten. That isn't censorship. The reason why liberals want to stop debate is because they are terrible at it. They run out of bullets after a short while. Remember in school you set up a paragraph with a "main idea" and then in three to five sentences you list supporting criteria why the main idea is right? Conservatives can do that all day long. We know what we think and we can back up why we think the things we do based on practical experience. We don’t need to quote bullshit studies to say what we are unable to in our own words. Liberals can't "fight" their way out of a wet paper bag using feelings as their basis for everything. They are humiliated time after time when they try to engage even your run of the mill blue-collar conservative Trump Voter who far better reasoned opinions. That isn't being silenced, that is just plain losing the argument. This exercise goes to the very heart of the First Amendment. That is what its all about.
