I am a 19 year old female to male back to female detransitioner. I an just a genderqueer woman. I am using female pronouns again and to be honest it has been along a tough journey. I do not judge or hate anyone who transitions. I do not agree with transitioning for anyone of any age, however if a person is gonna transition they should be age 25+ because at the age of 25+ the brain is fully developed and the person can make an informed decision.

I transitioned at age 21 in 1980. I struggled as a trans kid all my life until that point. Since then I have flourished and enjoyed an amazing life. When I see these kinds of videos I am heartbroken for these kids. What I do not like is conservatives like you Lauren using the misery of these kids to spread your conservative agenda of tearing down the lives of all transgender people, shame on you. It's sickening to see and hear you drawing out Lauren's misery to achieve your political ends. The emotions which Lauren expresses are shared by so many trans girls who are around 18 and were denied help, why don't you speak up for them too. These kids who de-transition have my complete support. What Lauren's experience tells us is that more human and financial resources are needed in this space, not less. That services should be expanded, not reduced.

Women come in all shapes and sizes and kinds. Mad props to you to be speaking out. Don’t worry about having a low voice. I sing in the church choir and am a tenor. I have been around a lot of women who sing tenor and even baritone. Also more girls need to know that not all girls dress girly girl and stuff. Some of us don’t wanna wear make up and we like hiking and camping and playing video games.

To be fair assisted suicide for severe downhill physical illness is compassion if that's what they want. For mental health, it's a mixed bag and i'm not comfortable with it. People need endless access and care first. btw- i'm actually a left wing and queer, but am not on the bandwagon of transitioning youth. If you can't get a tattoo legally, you shouldn't be able to modify your body.

If I just heard your voice and you were talking about a random topic, I wouldnt assume in my head this was a male voice. I hope your self consciousness there fades into acceptance. Such a strong voice speaking your truth. Lots of awesome women had deeper voices. Stevie knicks, Janis Joplin, Cher, etc. I've known lots of people who transitioned over the past 20 years. They were not all simplistic and all without a hitch like many are presenting these days. 3 of them transitioned back realizing they made a mistake. One of them has osteoporosis and is now in a wheelchair due to bone breakage but likes his chosen gender. I hope speaking your truth over and over brings you strength. Ten years from now you'll be 10x more fierce! As long as it is your truth and you are speaking from your world view, the opinions of others don't matter. truth is truth. I'm queer and also far more left than right, and I feel this intensive control of what is acceptable to think or say in social discourse and this is a dangerous place for any democracy. I was shocked there wasn't support and funding for your to de transition. This feels like a human rights issue. keep strong ;)

Be patient w yourself sweetheart. I’m 57 and I’ve made many many many irreversible mistakes. Painful, life changing horrible decisions. The Bible and Jesus helped me in innumerable ways. I suspect many have mental health issues that are not getting sufficiently looked after.

When I was a young man I dated a true tomboy, she was one of the best girlfriends I ever had, she was happy to do most things I was interested in and became and best friend and lover. Sadly we didn't last, but she then became very popular with my guy mate who most of them asked if it was ok if they tried to date her. She was not good looking in the conventional way but her personality shon through❤ to whoever reads this be who you want to be, just like a tattoo some choices are hard to change

I want to say to Sarah they she is so brave and strong. It is my opinion that some people are praying on young children and to me that is an act of abuse against young people. Your way of thinking about being around people who love you and are a positive influence in your life is the right track. You are helping so many young people that are in the same situation as you are. I wish you much love and support from people in your life.

I am so sorry for all you have been through! I just wanted to share something someone said that changed my life. I hope it helps you too. At school, kids used to tease me, saying, "Ew, you talk like a boy!" I would go home and cry. I knew I had a low voice, but there was nothing I could do to change it. When I was 10 years old, I was in a supermarket with my uncle. (My mother had just died.) The cashier was an attractive woman of about 40. When she spoke to my uncle, I almost fainted! Her voice was about an octave lower than mine! Without thinking, I blurted out, "You have a low voice too!" She looked me right in the eye, and said, "Yes, I do. I'm proud of having a low, sexy voice. Don't ever let anyone make you feel bad about yours. We are lucky ladies." That woman changed my life! When kids teased me after that, I just smiled, and thought about how that lady and I were lucky to have low, sexy voices. I know yours is caused by the drugs you took and mine wasn't, but really: your voice is not nearly as deep as mine was! Your voice is quite pleasant. Not everybody needs to be a soprano, you know. There is room in the choir for us altos too! So good luck, and God bless you and your low, sexy voice. P.S. I was a tomboy too, who climbed trees, carried frogs in my pockets, never wore shoes, and didn't come in until my mother dragged me home when it got dark. I love motorcycles too. You don't have to be a guy to like what you like. I went to college, got married, and I am a happily retired great-grandma now. I think I turned out just fine, and I don't care what other people think of me or expect me to be. I still don't wear makeup or shoes unless I have to go out. You are perfect and wonderful just as you are! 😘

Her family couldn’t afford therapy, but getting a double mastectomy at age 16. I’m sure there are many many side effects that would drive expenses way beyond simple counseling. It’s terrible that a young woman will never be able to breast feed. If she had bottom surgery she is likely never again going to feel an orgasm. Sorry that America has become a trans machine.

The doctors found new ways of operating people and now they operating everyone they can get their hands on. The more often they do the operation the better they become at them... Lots of love from the US for you, Sarah. I am a dad and have two daughters and my heart aches for you, but I am sure your dad aches more and wants only the best life for you. I remember shaving with my oldest daughter, me with a blade and her with just the empty handle. We had some good bonding time and she grew out of it and she eventually entered the healthcare field and had children. The LGBT community is like joining a cult or using heroin. People will love bomb you to get you into a cult. With heroin, at first using heroin makes you feel really good. When you leave a cult you lose all your friends and maybe even family. If you keep using heroin it can eventually ruin your life and kill you. Stopping heroin takes you into a painful withdrawal period. Sarah, my advice to you is to be yourself and never change. The withdrawal period will eventually pass. Keep a network of your family and supportive friends close. You can be a happy 60 year old tomboy and if it makes you happy, then everyone except the religious trans zealots will support you and send you their love. Be an auto mechanic, go into construction, go into the STEM field or become a nurse, a social worker, a therapist or a child care worker- it is your life and you should do whatever makes you happy. ♥

My wife was and is the stereotypical tomboy. Almost never wears dresses, loves videogames, sports, the great outdoors, shooting and barely wears makeup, but she's just as much of a beautiful, feminine woman as any girly girl that wears pink and played with barbies. Personal tastes are not what defines gender, and we've both talked about how, if she'd been born ten years later, she'd have been told she was trans too, and she'd have been robbed of the joy, fulfilment and family she has now. I used to say live and let live, but the tears activist movement is just evil, and I cannot see anyway it can be tolerated going forwards. It really is the modern day lobotomy.

To me, 95% of kids feel like they don't fit in and are not comfortable with their body around the age of late elementary school and early high school? So going to a school and saying if you don't feel like you fit in you might be X is not very fair?
>>
<<@matthewholmes8638
says :
Parents talk to your kids and listen to them. I feel most of this crap would be avoided if we actually found out what our children are thinking. If someone would have told her that it's ok to like things that are generally considered boyish for girls and there is no shame in liking to fish and not liking makeup or dressing up. Also it's ok to have crazy thoughts. We cant help what thoughts pop into our heads. We can however make a choice on the thoughts we dwell on. If you kick negative or bad thoughts out when they come in then your on the right path. No need to dwell on stuff.

<<@2muchtime579

The reason there's no community for De-Transitioning (especially if it's a young person) is because they don't want to admit that this even happens. They want to pretend that everyone who transitions is super happy and no one ever regrets it.
