We need a fresh outlook on the way we elect our politicians, so far we have to tolerate the same old political system that is not being representative of the citizens of our country. Maybe like the Swiss have more referendums on important issues and policies. I can’t imagine our knowledgeable and experienced farmers are being asked to cut back on their use of fertilizers by a ignorant, leader like Trudeau who has no concepts of how to properly farm, is trying to dictate what our knowledgeable and responsible farmers are allowed to use in the process of fertilizer use on their own farms, and that they cut back on their use of fertilizers by 30%. How are we going to be able to help the poorer nations if we cut back on the production of our food products, all because Justin wants to appear like an environmental hero. All for the sake of his ego. Even if they don't like Democrats that much but they probably dislike Republicans more. Secondly, not everyone has interest in politics. Many people don't talk or think about it. Thirdly, not having other options may also be leading voters being unhappy. There are either Democrats or Republicans. No other political party is even close to these two. Perhaps people need other options as well. Fourthly, Democratic party provides a lot of freebies to people. Once people are addicted to freebies, they will continue voting for Democrats no matter what.
