I ask this because I have 3 under 3. All of them by law need to be in car seats until the age of 4 then which they can be moved to a booster seat. This does still takes up room but not nearly as much as a car seat. Because of this I had to up my size car to fit them all in safely. To these activists I say screw off. The car's own weight sitting on the deflated tyres (for knows how long) can damage the tyres' carcasses (their shape/integrity-giving parts). So it's probably a good idea to replace them instead of risking them blow up on the highway... Edit: Some of these people where caught in my country by police and they were like "I dIdN't KnOw ThAt's IlLeGal". The internet claims they also deflated tyres of electric SUVs, but I couldn't confirm that yet.
